Firefighting operation concludes in Regent Street, Kettering

Firefighters have now left the site of a large fire at a business in Regent Street, Kettering.

Crews from Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) were called to reports of a significant fire in the three storey building shortly after 12.30pm yesterday, May 13.

A section of the street around the affected building has now been securely cordoned off, and control of the site and its security were transferred to Kettering Borough Council at around 5.30pm today, May 14.

NFRS staff will continue to make regular visits to the premises to monitor for hotspots, and work on an investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
